The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in developing an approach and streamlining data management processes. The role is key to turning complex data into clear information that can be used to make informed business decisions. Analysing and interpreting data trends, streamlining data management processes, and presenting findings to various stakeholders across PEM.

Key Accountabilities

  • Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
  • Extract information from data sets to identify correlations and patterns.
  • Analyse data to identify anomalies and predict trends across different processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices and new analytical tools.

Person Specification

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong foundation in Power BI and Excel.
  • A solid understanding of data sources and data organisation.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
