Join this Environmental Health Service and make a difference!

Your New Company

Australian Integrated Carbon (AIC) has one goal: to help commercialise environmental improvement for businesses.

Working as project development partners with Australian farmers, Indigenous communities, large energy users and waste facility managers, they help their customers find additional revenue streams whilst improving on environmental performance.

They know that getting involved in carbon trading isn’t core business for their clients, but it is for AIC. Through understanding the key drivers of different businesses, they work to improve the bottom line without the need for you to worry about complicated carbon market details.

Recently securing the backing of two global giants, AI Carbon is looking to cement themselves as a national market leader.

Your New Role

As a Data Analyst at AI Carbon, your role will be to analyse and interpret data to help the organisation make informed decisions. You will work closely with the CEO to present data findings and insights that will drive the organisation’s environmental health initiatives forward. As your role evolves and the organisation grows, you will become an integral part of a senior data team.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

Technical Skills:
  • You will have at least 5 years of experience as a data analyst.
  • You should have experience with GIS / Geo Spatial data sets.
  • Your Excel skills will be expert-level, with an ability to build Excel scripts.
  • Experience of creating dashboards and financial models.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.

Personal Attributes:
  • A genuine interest in the environmental market, sustainability and innovative technology.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and to demonstrate initiative.
  • A commitment to high work standards and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking skills to be able to navigate problems with creative solutions.
  • Curiosity and courage to grow in uncharted territory.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What is on Offer
  • Competitive salary range
  • Flexible work arrangements - 40% on-site.
  • Doing work that makes the difference, your opinion and role will help shape the organisation's data capabilities!
  • Professional development opportunities with global shareholders.
  • Working in a role where you have full scope, meeting with executives weekly.
