Job Title: Supplier Risk Management (SRM) Analyst
Duration: 12 Month

Job Summary
  • Performs focused third party risk assessments of existing and new suppliers.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including recommending risk transfer mechanisms.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
  • The Supplier Risk Management (SRM) Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and influencing the management of third-party risks across the organization.
  • This individual will ensure that the organization's vendor portfolio is properly evaluated, assessed, and managed to minimize risk exposure and risk impacts.
  • SRM management will include ensuring that the level of oversight of our third parties are commensurate with the level of risk and complexity of these relationships.
  • This position requires an understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinates the identification and classification and tiering of vendors by risks and risk impacts
  • Manages vendor risks as defined in vendor contracts and in accordance with existing risk management programs, policies, and regulations.
  • Stays up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements and ensures that the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

  • 2 years of relevant third-party risk management, regulatory compliance, information security, risk management, sustainability, supply chain, and/or audit experience.
  • Experience with Supplier Management Information Systems.
  • Relevant experience, preferably in category management, strategic sourcing, business management, project management, data analysis.
  • Project management experience, including leading teams to deliver a project on time with a high degree of quality.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data within complex systems.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both verbally and in written form, information/concepts to all levels including management in both formal and informal settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • A demonstrated ability to attain skill development in addition to work duties.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability (using data to solve operational problems).
  • Working understanding of utility and/or energy environments, operating procedures, and economics or regulation.
  • Demonstrated involvement in cross-functional team collaboration.

Preferred qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certified Professional in Supply Management
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification
