Financial Planning & Analyst Manager

The Company

Robert Half are working with a well-established and rapidly growing investment firm based in Downtown, Dubai. They are seeking a dedicated and analytical FP&A Manager to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring the firm's financial health and optimizing decision-making processes.


The Role

• Financial Modelling: Create and maintain complex financial models to analyse historical data, forecast future financial performance, and identify key financial trends.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic goals.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and assess investment performance, providing insights into portfolio performance drivers and recommending adjustments when necessary.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to track and explain differences between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
• Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
• Scenario Analysis: Assist in scenario planning and stress testing to evaluate the impact of various economic and market conditions on the firm's financial position.
• Strategic Support: Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed, providing timely and accurate information to aid in decision-making.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the financial systems, making necessary adjustments and improvements as required.

The Candidate

• Charted Accountant Qualification is a must
• 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the investment management industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software tools.

Salary and Benefits

37,000 - 42,000 AED a month, plus company benefits
