Salary: Grade C - £30,022 (National Framework) or £35,191 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £529 per annum for those working from home
Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week

We are now looking for a Senior Resource Planning Analyst to join us on a full-time basis, for a 12 month fixed-term contract or secondment.

What you will bring…

To be considered as a Senior Resource Planning Analyst, you will need:

  • Experience within an analyst role
  • Experience of interpreting and presenting data sets to a wide range of audiences
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Technical competence to design and/or develop effective planning tools and meaningful MI
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of preparing and presenting high-level reports on complex issues
  • Advanced IT skills including experience of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Projects
  • A first degree, or equivalent experience within a similar role


What you will be doing…

As a Senior Resource Planning Analyst, you will support our ongoing national resource planning capabilities through the development and maintenance of our national resource planning tool.

Ensuring our tool is aligned to our processes and procedures, you will enable our inspection directorates to create informed and realistic inspection programmes through the provision of robust management information.

You will enable us to deliver great forecasting and predictive modelling for resources and demand. Maintaining operational resource forecasts and models, you will support the Performance Practice Manager by reviewing and tracking progress our delivery against forecasts and highlighting where delivery is not on track.

Your role will also involve:

  • Contributing to annual planning processes
  • Taking a medium-term perspective for inspection resources
  • Producing reports for inspectorate teams
  • Reviewing our progress against our plans
  • Analysing and recommending action to positively impact delivery schedules
