Job Title: Lead Data Analyst - PM&C
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £43,373 + depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
• Undertaking advanced problem solving typically based on previous experience
• Attending on the job training as appropriate.
• Leading the PM&C processes on a small project or a work package of a larger project.
• Conducting portfolio level data analysis, across multiple submarine programmes
• Integration of complex data sets and Identification of key information
• Conducting appropriate stakeholder engagement around analysis findings
• Analysing complex data sets in order to provide intelligent information
• Developing standard Portfolio Reports & Metrics and conduct analysis against them to extract key management information role
Your skills and experiences:
• Ability to gather information, supporting development of solutions and of implementation approach
• Ability to apply problem solving techniques to situations of moderate complexity in the field of PM&C, taking requirements and data from internal (project) sources and external (customer, competitor and academic) areas
• Diplomacy skills required in order to work across business boundaries to achieve optimum solutions
• Significant experience Microsoft, particularly Excel and database use
• Experienced in the use of SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud

The Portfolio Integration team:
As a part of the Submarines Portfolio Integration team this role will have interfaces into all aspects of the business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders at all levels, whilst working with all Programmes and Functions, making this a very diverse role.
The analysis carried out within this position will be key to informing key Portfolio level decisions across the Submarines Business.
