Senior FP&A Analyst

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in North Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£45,000 - £50,000 plus excellent benefits including performance bonus and hybrid working

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Ensure that business performance is measured, analysed, explained and understood through the delivery of key performance indicators on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as appropriate
• Understand results and trends within the business, providing analysis that allows leadership teams to deliver on their operational responsibilities and take actions to drive performance
• Have an awareness of the profitability of the differing streams of business to help drive the strategy for the division
• Ensure the identification and communication of specific competitive/market issues to prompt mitigating, pre-emptive actions
• Ensure compliance with all financial matters, including consideration with the management team of matters pertaining to potential conflicts of interest
• Work with other platform finance colleagues to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Supporting the Chief Finance Officers and Finance Directors as required
• Improve budget and forecast processes, working closely with the business and Group FP&A team
• Work across the wider leadership teams, including the Acquisitions team, to deliver best in class cash forecasting, including liquidity, leverage and financial risk appetites
• Review the overall Business Plan in line with the Group's/Platform's longer term (5 year) plans and objectives and provide inputs to the strategic planning process
• Coordinate and oversee the analysis of business targets, current forecasts and conduct root cause analysis of missed targets
• Supporting the Platform CFO, Segment CFOs, FDs and Finance Business Partners in their forward-looking analysis of the business

Person specification:

• Qualified or Finalist CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Expertise in management accounting, financial performance reporting and financial control
• Expertise in cashflow modelling and forecasting
• Knowledge/experience in financial forecasting and budgeting processes
• Excellent Excel skills
