Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, engaging in proactive liaison with budget holders to update forecasts and internal models encompassing overhead costs.
- Serve as the go-to authority, presenting and reviewing actual results from the previous month to budget holders, adeptly addressing inquiries and providing information.
- Take the reins in CAPEX expenditure management - tracking, forecasting, and comparing against budget, all the while ensuring adherence to budgetary limits by budget holders.
- Elevate the quality of ROI calculations by thoroughly reviewing business cases for investment capex prior to management evaluation.
- Monitor expenditures tied to company initiatives and investments, translating these into insightful performance reports.
- Analyse large Data Sets
- Create engaging PowerPoint presentations elucidating overhead costs, P&Ls, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure the veracity of network productivity reports while upholding data accuracy within our reporting software.
- Skillfully calculate monthly bonuses for the network while reliably forecasting scheme adjustments.
- Collaborate with budget holders to unearth efficiency opportunities through data analysis and modeling, subsequently proposing effective solutions.
- Spearhead process and reporting enhancements, leveraging software-based solutions to streamline manual reporting processes.
- Extend support through ad hoc investment modeling and analysis, playing a pivotal role in informed investment decisions.
Your Profile:
- Qualified Accountant, or nearly qualified and still studying ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent. Robust foundation in science or analytical disciplines (Mathematics, Science, IT, Economics, Business, or Engineering degree).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, crucial given the extensive interaction with budget holders and management.
- Proficiency in Excel or a strong aptitude for technology, coupled with rapid learning capabilities.
- A self-initiated individual with a penchant for swift learning and a proclivity for embracing new challenges.
