Lead Power BI Developer
Working as part of a global team, we are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) & Integration Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge and a subject matter expert of data integration solutions and data architecture.
You will be responsible for the technical development of any new data integration solutions to be plugged in to the overall data architecture. You will be supporting the Group application manager, Power Bi Developer and the Infrastructure team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide input of data solutions.
For this role, you should also have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those.
- Analysing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish.
- Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
- Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
- Analyse current ETL process, define and design new systems.
- Data warehouse development .
- Review and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems.
- Ability to perform API integrations.
- Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions.
- Document process, models, designs, and solutions and able to explain, represent.
- Provide third line support and manage assigned tickets in a quick and timely manner.
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years working with BI tools and any data-specific roles.
Analytical skills and a solid track record developing data integration solutions.
Hard skills include strong knowledge and experience with:
- Business Intelligence technology ( Power BI).
- CRM technologies
- Microsoft SQL. Data manipulation, data integration design and development including APIs.
- Datawarehouse tech: experience developing OLAP cubes and/or in memory data models.
- Microsoft Power Apps, MS Power Automate.
- Azure Data Factory
- MS Logic App
- MS Flow
- Office 365
- SharePoint online
- Experience working alongside developers.
Nice to haves but not essential:
- Business analysis.
- Awareness of AI and AI products.
- Knowledge or experience of the recruitment industry.
