Overview
The ESG Analyst will support the execution of Blackhawk Network’s comprehensive ESG strategy at a global scale. You will get the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams from around the world and make a noticeable impact in the gift card industry. This newly created role will report directly to the leader of BHN sustainability to advance ESG strategies to meet stakeholder expectations and drive long-term value. The ESG Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to our industry and building presentations to concisely share findings. Effective time management will be necessary for this fully remote position as you help manage multiple concurrent projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and report on ESG data, outcomes and trends
- Support company ESG responses and submissions to customer RFPs, annual surveys, and external rating and ranking agencies, including CDP and EcoVadis.
- Support the maintenance of internal and external ESG disclosures and serve as a resource for internal partners for external reporting.
- Ad hoc projects to support the BHN ESG efforts, both externally and internally
- Additional ad hoc projects for the BHN operations and business transformation teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in environmental science, sustainable engineering, or related sustainability field
- 1+ year of relevant experience in a role with ESG focus in one of the following areas: program management, sustainability, finance, or compliance
- Familiarity with ESG standards, frameworks and methodologies including SASB, GRI,TCFD, SBTi, and GHG Protocol
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to facilitate meetings and present information and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently
- Able to manage competing priorities
