Requirements:

You have a technical degree, e.g. in computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering.
- You have practical work experience in software development.
- You have very good programming skills in Python.
- You have good knowledge of a static programming language, e.g. C++ or C#.
- You are familiar with best practices in software testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- You bring good communication and presentation skills in German and English.

Responsibilities:

You work in an interdisciplinary team with experts on the development and optimization of our data-driven products.
- You define and implement the software and architecture of our Python applications in collaboration with Data Scientists.
- You define and implement interfaces to our measurement devices and other systems in collaboration with software developers.
- You develop software for use in our edge applications, for example for real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure. Thus, as an active part of the project teams, you will help shape the future of distributed fiber optic sensing in a variety of new applications.
