We have a great opportunity for an Information Security Analyst at StepChange Debt Charity in Leeds. This will be a key role within the Technology Services department, working with colleagues within the team and throughout the Charity to implement procedural and technical aspects of information security.

Where you’ll work:

You’ll split your time between our Leeds office and home. Currently we ask all colleagues to work from the office for a minimum of 2 days a month.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reviewing the Charity’s information security controls and related processes
  • Working with stakeholders across the charity to highlight their responsibilities in relation to information security, and helping them implement appropriate control measures
  • Developing and maintaining information security processes and standards, ensuring they’re adhered to
  • Reviewing risks and issues to assist in identifying root causes
  • Responding to data protection legislation queries and providing advice to colleagues

What you’ll bring:

  • A broad knowledge of information security principles
  • Experience of security process development and implementation
  • Understanding of the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR legislation
  • Knowledge of risk management principles
  • Communications and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
