Role Purpose

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Global Marketing Team, based in Bristol. This is an ideal opening for an experienced candidate to progress their career in a varied role.

The Marketing Services team work closely with our vast business units, to create great campaigns and drive revenue growth. Providing customer and market intelligence, brand strategy, campaign development and execution and strategic client pursuit (proposals) as a ‘centre of excellence’. All marketing projects are managed by the Marketing Services team to bring together marketing expertise, best practice and consistency to everything delivered to our clients - allowing us to leverage global content while ensuring local relevance and market specific requirements.

Marketing Services and Portfolio Marketing work together:

  • Intelligence and Brand teams will provide insights that inform the Marketing strategies and plans.
  • Portfolio Teams will own and develop these strategies in line with business objectives.
  • MarCom (Marketing Communications) and Strategic Pursuit teams will be briefed by the Portfolio teams and will develop and execute marketing plans and strategic proposals.
  • Regional marketing teams will support with the translation and localization of our marketing activity.


This is a new and exciting role that will work as part of a global team in a company who are motivated to continually train and develop our staff. We also offer a high level of flexibility, so if you must work certain hours for commitments, we are more than happy to support you.

Main Accountabilities

Reporting into the Global Intelligence Senior Manager, this is a new role with a primary focus that supports our existing marketing performance program, informing the team and business lines of the results from marketing campaigns.

This role will support Marketing Intelligence with data handling, management, and data visualisation for existing marketing performance dashboards, and offers the opportunity to own the design and creation of new PowerBI marketing & business intelligence self-serve dashboards for our annual, global client / customer satisfaction survey results.

Other key responsibilities:

 

  • Support in the compilation and aggregation of data from multiple data sources such as Eloqua, Oracle CRM on Demand, SalesForce, SQL Database, Google Analytics, and Excel spreadsheets for marketing effectiveness reports (data mining)
  • Run queries on existing data sources to evaluate analytics and analyse trends
  • Use data and programming skills to transform and manipulate data sources as needed.
  • Support with reporting and analysis for marketing performance data and ad-hoc analytic requests


Skills/Experience & Competencies

We’re looking for an experienced data analyst, with a solid understanding of data handling, data management and data visualisation techniques and best practices. Knowledge of handling marketing performance data (SQL’s, MQL’s etc.) or customer survey data would be an advantage.

Any previous experience of design and development of user-cantered dashboards would be ideal, preferably using Power BI or another data visualisation solution.

You’ll be a self-starter who can work autonomously, with minimal direction with a proactive & resilient approach. Forward planning, balancing priorities, and co-ordinating multiple tasks, with meticulous attention to detail.

A flexible approach is required for this role, as working as part of a collaborative global team across different time zones.

Strong literacy and numerical skills will allow you to successfully communicate across all levels of the business, both written and verbal, and enable you to work through problems of both a technical and non-technical nature.
