We want to maximise the potential of everyone who chooses to work for us and we offer a range of flexible working patterns and support to make a fulfilling career at HMRC accessible to you.

Diverse perspectives and experiences are critical to our success and we welcome applications from all people from all backgrounds with the experience and skills needed to perform this role.

HMRC is building a modern, digital tax administration and runs the biggest digital operation in Government, with a digital programme that is multi-award winning and the envy of other government organisations.

This is an exciting time to join an organisation that probably doesn't work how you'd imagine a government organisation would.

Our role sits within HMRC's Chief Digital & Information Officer Group (CDIO).

The Chief Operating Office (COO) is a group within CDIO and is focused on driving performance, consistency and governance of business operations.

It will be made up of 7 key capabilities that ensure the efficient and effective day to day operation of the CDIO organisation.

The Planning and Performance Team within COO offers a high standard of service to CDIO, driving operational excellence by developing the business plan, associated performance indicators and holding the Leadership Team to account for the performance in relation to CDIO Objectives.

Through the utilisation of established relationships and development of new networks, we deliver continuous improvement in both business performance and delivery, presenting accurate performance information across the business.

We analyse information to identify and understand the impact on the business in order to influence partners and challenge outcomes.

We work closely and corporately to support the integration of the risk across CDIO; delivering business improvements through continuous planning, utilising real time information to drive performance discussions.
