I have partnered with an exciting global iGames creator who design and produce thousands of award-winning casino games.

They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (streaming, Apache Kafka) to join their streaming team. This is a team critical to the business offering a huge variety of exposure to a system that operates on a global scale.

You will be working on large complex systems with a lot of complex domains, once you have mastered the domain you are in you are then able to chose where you go next giving you exposure to the system as a whole under excellent training.

This is a fully remote opportunity and is paying GBP56,000.00 - GBP83,559 p/a

As the Senior Data Engineer (streaming, Apache Kafka), you will be:

• Design, implement and maintain stream processing architectures.
• Design, implement and maintain traditional message processing architectures.
• Assist in supporting feeds consumed by data scientists and business analysts.
• Write and update documentation and diagrams as you add new components, features and processes.
• Present ideas to the team and run demo sessions if required.

The Senior Data Engineer (streaming, Apache Kafka) will need:

• Experience using cloud blob storage such as AWS S3 or Azure Storage Accounts.
• Experiemce using Apache Kafka.

Desirable skills for the Senior Data Engineer (streaming, Apache Kafka):

• Experience using data analytics platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Experience in with large-scale data processing platforms such as Apache Spark.
• Experience with pipelines-as-code in CI/CD platforms such as GitHub (actions), Azure DevOps, Git Lab etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.
