Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading sports betting clients based in the United Kingdom. They are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with a passion for data and visualisation to join their growing Data Team.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for the support and further development of existing data warehouse infrastructure. You will also have to investigate, analyse, and set up automated processes to maximise efficiency for a business model.

1. Converting production data into a Data Warehouse model
2. Developing/Maintaining current ETL processes using Python
3. Utilising an ETL tool to import/export data to third party vendors
4. Developing new Dimensional data models, and modify existing schemes to assist the team in meeting stakeholder's requirements
5. Maintaining the security, data integrity and availability of the data in the Data Warehouse
6. Improving Data Warehouse automation

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. AWS including Redshift and S3
2. 3+ Years of Data Engineering Experience
3. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields
4. Excellent communication skills within a team
5. Strong SQL Skillset
6. Python

Desirable Skills/Experience

Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. GCP including Big Query
2. Postgres
3. Tableau
