Data Scientist for research project in the field of Machine Learning

Our client is a leading and well-known institution in the field of research with over 20,000 employees and research budgets in the billions. As Data Scientist you will support the existing team in Machine Learning platform development in a highly innovative Big Data project.

Your tasks:

• Processing of large and exciting data sets in the context of a renowned scientific project in the Big Data environment
• Platform development in the area of machine learning applications
• Performing exploratory data analysis in the context of statistics
• Ensuring the maturity of data and code
• Creation of predictive models and various analyses
• Documentation and quality assurance of requirements

Your skills:

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Very good programming skills in Python, R, Java etc
• Strong skills in the area of statistics/mathematics, numerics, machine learning, neural networks, Kernel methods, NLP and probability theory
• Experience in the area of TensorFlow, an advantage
• Open-minded and communicative team player with a confident demeanor
• Solution-oriented work style with a lot of initiative and a friendly nature
• Very good English skills
