The Analytics Engineering Team for one of the worlds leading FTSE firms is continually innovating the way data tools and products are developed, helping to transform how analysts work and have a number of positions available. They do this by applying software engineering principles to the development of internal data tools, harnessing data, technology, and analytics to make it easier to extract relevant insights and drive value. So, if you have experience building data-focused software products, a commitment to shipping iterative solutions that deliver business value, and a thirst for the innovative and creative then they would be interested in speaking to you.

What we're looking for

• Experience of writing code that works with analytic datasets. Ideally you have experience of a language like Python and R data focused libraries.

• Experience processing or analysing datasets, interacting with databases, data warehouses or data lakes

• A passion for the tools you use to make development as efficient as possible - for example, you may have experience with git, unit testing frameworks, CICD pipelines or some data-focused cloud storage services

• You love the process of developing software products, but also share our passion to do the right thing. You know at the end of the day it's about reaching the right outcome.
