Internal Auditor

Fox Global Partners is working with a large US listed company to recruit an Internal Auditor to join their global internal audit team in Singapore.

The Company

Fox Global Partners is currently working with an international manufacturing company. They are listed on the NYSE and have manufacturing sites across the APAC region. As such, we are looking for an Internal Auditor to join their international audit team based in Singapore

The Role

The main focus of the role is to provide an independent and objective audit service to add value and to improve the risk and control environment across the business. The successful candidate will be a part of the team that is responsible for the audits of manufacturing and distribution sites mostly across Asia. As such, there is international travel planned for the future, however most audits will be conducted remotely via zoom etc.

The key part of the role is to execute internal audit assignments as part the annual audit plan to evaluate the effectiveness of controls within the business.

The main duties within the role would include -

• Deliver the audits as set out in the audit plan and within agreed timeframes.
• Present audit findings to the senior management upon completion of audits, as well as any areas of concern, recommending improvements.
• As part of the team you will help to ensure that all action plans are fully implemented.
• Maintain effective key relationships with local management as well as senior leaders within the wider business.

Your Skills and Experience

This is a great route for a First mover who is looking join a large international business, or an internal auditor from commerce who is looking for a bigger challenge. It is essential that you are a qualified accountant OR auditor (CIA, CA, ACCA, CPA) with a strong academic background. Relationship and rapport building skills are essential, as is the ability to present to senior managers. Asian language skills would be highly advantageous, as well as the ability to undertake extensive Asian travel in the future.
