About the Role
As the new Data Analytics Manager, you will be managing Senior and Junior Data Analysts within the Technology Consulting and Assurance Team in delivering data and analytics engagements to a range of clients across the UK. Each engagement is different and imposes new challenges and learning opportunities. Client satisfaction is of the highest importance and you will need excellent communication skills and an ability to work positively under pressure and to deadlines. You will be supporting the Consulting and Assurance teams with a range of clients from the Banking, Financial and Corporate sectors.
Understand client requirements and provide logical solutions.
Working closely with other service lines across audit and advisory engagements focusing on data & analytics.
Guide and manage the team to extract data from various ERP systems through Extract Transform Load.
Guide and manage team to develop data pipelines.
Coaching and mentoring team members.
Process structured and unstructured data to automate business process and provide meaningful insights.
Develop rich visuals which provides deeper insights into data.
Build and develop strong working relationships within the team and with the client.
Ensuring all work is undertaken to budget, meets client KPIs and firm' quality requirements.
Work within a team to ideate and develop new data driven solutions to solve critical challenges faced by businesses.
About You
Skills, Knowledge and Experience -
Relevant industry knowledge and experience through a previous consulting or practice role.
Ability to independently write and review complex SQL/T-SQL
Process knowledge of standard process areas such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report.
Experience of design and development of databases in MS SQL Server.
Ability to independently setup SQL databases and manage settings.
Experience in using Python to read complex datasets and/or application development.
Thorough understanding of relational database design concepts and best practices.
Experience in building packages using SSIS / SSRS.
Knowledge of MS Azure services and fundamentals.Desirable skills:
Experience in Banking or Insurance industries.
Knowledge and experience of SAP dataset extraction and analysis is desirable.
Experience in data governance and data advisory engagements.
Qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIPFA is added advantage.
Knowledge of Data visualisation concepts using open source technologies or tools such as power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
Some data engineering experience building data pipelines from various data sources.
Exposure to Machine learning or AI techniques.
Working knowledge of Data Lake & Datawarehouse.
Any experience in Big data tools and technologies.
Knowledge of design and development of azure cloud-based data solutions.
Advanced degree or any certifications within data / cloud technologies.
