Data Science and Analytics Specialist required by top 10 global law firm with offices across 40+ global locations. This role is responsible for assisting to generate insight and value to the company's data (gathered from multiple platforms and data sources) to support the growth of the firm's Data Strategy and Data Science projects. Working with large data sets across multiple sources from within the business you will apply advanced data analysis techniques, customised modelling solutions and advanced analytical methods from a data science perspective, feeding these capabilities into the ongoing development of systems for the business.

The Data Science and Analytics Specialist will apply experience in predictive modelling, forecasting and other algorithms as well as statistical knowledge in regression modelling, random forests and support of vector machines.

Further relevant skills include: Powerpoint, excel, build forecasts and models, provide insights, explore trends and implement data analytics tools for eternal user interfaces to communicate insight from new machine learning techniques to a wider team.

The successful candidate will have a background in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Management Information Systems and will possess strong hands on experience of analytical review, interpretation of trends and identification of themes. This is a highly visible role requiring excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external clients.

Critically, you will have gained Practical knowledge in applying machine learning techniques, ideally with min 2 years of professional services exposure.
