About The Role

As we continue to grow our Finance function we have a new opportunity for a System Support Analyst who will work closely with members of Finance operations. You’ll take accountability for documentation and implementation of system configuration and process optimisation.  You’ll have active management of environments including scheduling and test co-ordination, (a key part of the role), which will also include business ownership for patching and fixes.

The nature of the role will mean that building and maintaining strong relationships with IT, Change and Third party support providers is crucial.

You’ll be providing test support for inbound change, you’ll be seen as an SME for systems based change.

About You

You’ll have significant experience working in a similar role, within a highly regulated environment, ideally within a Finance/Treasury function within Financial Services.  Drive - you will be a self-starter, able to engage with gravitas to bring to life the importance of risk management, and provide confidence in the value of this to stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll be passionate about the systems lifecycle management, and based on experience, be pragmatic about its application.

You need to be a great communicator and be able to build your network, maintaining and leveraging lasting relationships

You’ll have developed the ability to problem solve using various strategies and skills to influence those around you

Ideally you’ll have experience of working within an environment undergoing significant change and demonstrable experience of working successfully with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.

As a team player with demonstrable evidence of strong leadership and influencing skills, you’ll be equipped with excellent planning and organisation skills.

You’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues and stakeholders to ensure delivery against commitments is achieved working to address any challenges, utilising your excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

You’ll have an ability to deliver under pressure and to tight timescales. You’ll be curious and want to understand how your role and activity fits and adds value in the context of Finance and the wider Society as a whole. 

You’ll continually look for opportunities to develop yourself and look to step outside of the confines of your role in the support of colleagues and the Society.  You’ll engage honestly and constructively with your colleagues across the business to deliver great outcomes and ultimately cultivate an environment of collaboration, innovation and idea sharing.
